You are correct that partner GE benefits are not *Gold benefits. Lounge access is applicable only in NZ operated Koru Clubs when travelling on NZ operated flights.

I have not flown via YVR, so I cannot speak for that AC lounge going beyond the letter of the entitelment, but I can confirm that Mrs adl73x (also a partner GE with no status of her own at the time) was refused access by the AC lounge at LAX (which opens earlier in the day than the NZ one does), The refusal was expected and of course did not offend.

Similarly no benefit when flying SQ.

The only luck I have had has been in a BD lounge travelling with both our children the GE Card and the Partner Card were sufficient on the day to permit both our children as guests. Certainly NOT a GE Partner benefit - just lucky.
