One piece of luggage arrived at my 3rd destination on the AM of the 28th.
No thanks to AF lounge staff, found available space myself (last seat) after AF cancelled their flights to my initial destination and I advised supervisor of lounge.
Second piece of luggage is located not in my hands.
Someone did go through the garment bag but all appears to be there, was then sealed with plastic strips.
Last word from Lost Luggage at my initial destination was "there are thousands of bags here coming in from all over".
Two out of three flights through CDG this year get impacted by snow.. only the July flight was OK. Guess I need to fly the northern routes.
Yeah, it was not fun. I went into 2F around 5am on 12/24 and they were just setting up operations. Ended up at 2G at 6am (right when they opened) and was third in line. By the time I was done, the line in 2G must have been 3 - 4 hours long, getting back to 2F after that was the longest line I've ever seen at CDG.
Anyways, it's now 1/1/11 and I have had no word of our luggage. 4 pieces and a stroller. Did you receive all of yours yet?
