For me, the J awards present a fair value. BUT, I would not use 200k because I know I can do better.
I totally agree.
If I had to pay 200K for J or 60K for Y, I would take three Y round trips to Europe vs. one J round trip to Europe. Most FT'ers wouldn't but I can live with nice exit row seats on the long flights.
