i once got a $85 RT fare from DCA to SLC on Cont. don't know if it was a mistake, or not. no restriction (except for sat night stay). it was only available a few hours early one Weds morning last Sept.

maybe the airline was doing some market research to see how many people moved (even knew about) on this low price.
