I've seen it as a word for quite some time now. But, I've never thought about how you'd say it out loud until you brought it up. Reading your suggestion, where would you put the stress or the accent? I suggest the second syllable, so it doesn't sound awkward saying "DIK" in the beginning.

So, you'd get, "di-CKWEE-uh."

In Spanish, I suggest writing it as diquía, to refer to females, diquío to refer to males.

Perhaps if we use this enough and share this with our friends and family, it'll make itself into the OED in the future and be accepted by the Royal Academy of Spanish.
