Look at Dublin routings in the summer - because of EI's discounted one-ways, everybody else jumps on board, e.g. AA ORD-DUB is around $650 one way.

In the winter, because AA doesn't fly directly to Dublin, you're routed through MAN, e.g. mid-February, ORD-xMAN-DUB is $661.

From Dublin there are various mainline and LCC connections onward to the continent.

Also meant to add, you can buy 20K AA miles for around $500 (less if there's a sale) and redeem them for a one-way coach ticket - in February usually T space is wide open to pretty much everywhere.
