The Pays to Stay promotion was created to reward improvement in the average number of stays a member has with Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide. Since those who stay less often travel less overall and those who stay more often travel more overall, this promotion was designed to make the bonus offer proportionate to the individual member's opportunities for travel as opposed to volume of travel. It has nothing to do with your level of status in Starwood Preferred Guest. This promotion is intended for those members who had stays in 2000, so not every member will receive it in the direct mail advertisement nor will every member be eligible to receive it. In addition, the bonus offer will vary according to how many stays you had last year. If you have questions about whether you qualify individually, please call the Account Services Center nearest you. A member services representative will be glad to review your account history to determine which bonus is most appropriate.
