With respect to the surveys: my wife and I were travelling together so I signed up for email notification with Delta Messenger for flight notification on her ticket but using my email. After the flight, there were two emails (only to her but at my email address) -one was about how the delay was handled and one was about check-in. The latter was a laugh because we couldn't get to the Delta desk to check in at HNL because we had come in on Hawaiian on a separate ticket and were already inside security (I had done an OLCI but had not been able to print the boarding passed). All the Delta check-in desks are on the other side of security. Eventually, a gate area attendant did print out our passes but the check-in survey made absolutely no sense. On the outbound journey we had flown Air Canada, United and Hawaiian and then returned on Hawaiian and Delta. United was the worst by far. Delta was the best in most categories. If AC served food they would have won in my book, but they are liked United in that department.
