Considering weather conditions there last week, the flight arrived at its destination "only" eight hours late by your account. That's remarkably well done, and I don't see how that point in particular is a bone of contention. Not a help to pax who still don't have their bags, of course, but it sounds like AA did well with this flight considering everything. ^
