Hmm. I've found the Fairfield brand to be very consistent. The properties generally look the same inside and out. I'm not a huge fan of the brand; I feel the amenities are a bit too much on the cheap side overall. Within the same category I'd generally pick Hampton Inn. They're fairly consistent, too, and generally about a half star nicer. But when I do book at a Fairfield I go in confident of what to expect.
