Thanks. I'm relatively new to FT - but this post alone and the valuable responses are worth learning how to slog through its massive content (it's overwhelming at first)

Woke up to a phone call this am - valet saying since they were unable to move my car, since they had lost my keys, someone had ended up hitting it (I think we all knew this was coming). Great. I really should have had more to drink! Falcons lost and now my car is dented. I spoke to the Valet manager he claimed no responsibility for the damages since private driver had actually hit my car. I got hotel security involved and called the ATL police to have them create a report (case file.)

Spoke with hotel management - they took care of my dinner last night $178, removed the $24 valet charge and put the 30k points back in my account. It's a start. I'm still going to contact the Diamond desk and see what else they can do for all my troubles, pain and suffering! I'm working with the private driver to address the damages to my car. I have the hotel security saving the surveillance tape in case I need it to work with the contracted valet company.
