Exactly. My birthday is in December and I got the deal the first week of December. MONTHS ago I booked my flight to Las Vegas as I always go for my birthday. Called to see if I could get a 10% credit on the flight I had already booked and of course the answer was no as it was only good on new reservations. So, that coupon does me no good unless they send it a few months in advance, or allow you to get a credit off a flight you already booked.
