In LAX your AA status and your class of travel will give you access to the business lounge.

No matter what status you have, you wouldn't be able to use the F lounge on arrival anyway.

When you depart from Australia, the two nice F lounge are in SYD and MEL. You will have access to them if you are either flying in F or if you have OW Emerald Status. Your profile says you are a AA Platinum which unfortunately won't be enough. You need Exp Plat to get access.
