My wife and I each earned a 241 and have made reservations to travel from JFK to BOM via LHR (free stopover in both directions) in F all the way. We are traveling with our twins and so we burnt 540K BA miles for 4 First class tickets and paid approx. 3060 (i am pretty sure of this number) in taxes between the four of us. The cheapest F pricing for this roue I have ever found was about 8700 per ticket. My advise, FWIW, take the via LHR routing to make the most of this incredible gift when flying premium class.
