I've spoken to several reservations agents and heard conflicting answers to this question:

Can I treat LAX-JFK-two days in NY-LGA-ORD as LAX-ORD with a stopover in NY? I am curious because if the answer is yes, then I should be able to apply my LAX-JFK mileage upgrade to LGA-ORD as well, since upgrade awards still allow for one stopover.

Not a big deal either way, but I'd rather save the two stickers/save myself from 90min in Y if it won't cost me any extra...
