I know that it was recently discovered that SWUs could be used on Airfrance, my question is this. By complete coincidence my father is going to be on the same AF flight from CDG to IAD. My wife and I are in Affairs and I was wondering if it would be possible to upgrade my dad (to economy plus?) using either miles or upgrade certs. Is there anyway to do this since he is not on my itinerary?
