I remember reading a press release with this noted, and given that it's not on the TSA's chain-of-command web page, I just figured it was a mistake on the part of the reporter. Then again, I can see that position existing for some Class X airports, with thousands of TSOs (something such as even a DAFSD for a specific terminal).
