You have TWO days of cancelled flights (they started cancelling flights yesterday and no flights going out today).
Also, it is probably not until Thursday that they could give you a CONFIRMED seat - you might try to standby for an earlier flight. There were likely many who rebooked on Tuesday/Wednesday when the travel waiver went into effect further increasing the load on those days.
And remember, you aren't the only 1K displaced, with thousands of cancelled flights there are probably at least two or three more 1Ks needing a seat
