If the online award booking tool does not show a routing with a transit, but shows availability when polling each of the segment, it can be for two reasons :
- first, transit option might not be set correctly for this routing. It's related to wrong Carrier Preferred Display settings for Amadeus officeID ;
- second, which has a higher probability, is that AF/KL and many other airlines use dynamic polling based on routing, meaning that the availability will differ for example if you request a LYS - ORY - RUN, than if you request separately LYS-ORY and ORY-RUN. And I would not be surprised if Awards are really impacted by this.
The second explanation seems to be the most likely to me, just as Mokshu says.
