Dear Knowledgeable FT'ers,

I have scanned through the whole thread on SZ Hyatt but I could't find much details on the Club Lounge. Do you think it is worthwhile to pay RMB 600 ($90) daily to access the Club Lounge.

I have just made a booking using the BEST RATE GUARANTEE for my booking. However, the site that provides a lower rate than Hyatt website does not show any Club Room, thus, I can only make my booking for the cheapest room.

As I do not have any status with Hyatt (unlike most of the Diamond FT'ers), I can only pay to access the lounge. I called up SZ Hyatt Reservation office and was told that the upgrade to Club Lounge would be RMB 600 ($90).

I need your valuable advice on the following :

1) I have seen the comments from fellow FT'ers who have visited the Club lounge to be good but I am unsure whether it is value for money and worthwhile to pay RMB 600 daily. Or should I use the RMB 600 to dine at the restaurants for Lunch and Dinner instead? I am staying alone and do not feel like leaving the hotel.


2) Prior to checking in at SZ Hyatt, I would be staying in Intercontinental SZ Club room with Club Lounge Access. Can any FT'ers who have visited these 2 Lounges provide an insight and comparison between these 2 Lounges (Sorry. Not sure whether any comparison is allowed here) so that I can make informed decision after my stay with IC SZ.
