Thanks @sp for sharing your experiences. I already heard a lot of stories that Male is nothing special and best to be avoided. I was rather thinking to spend the last day in a hotel somewhere close to Male airport but looking for alternatives to Hulhule island hotel.
Holiday Inn Male has been the choice for most on FT.
I have stayed there and it is an exceptional property for HI. That said, I would not be spending my holidays there, but it is a great option for transit pax
