Heading into Atlanta today, I received a call at 9:00am informing me that the noon flight back to Toronto was cancelled. No other options except for 6:00pm were available but there was a chance of being put on Delta.

Got to the check in desk and they tried to put us on a 11:18 flight on Delta, but the wires were severly crossed between AC and Delta. Managed to get on the 12:40 flight though and I am impressed with Air Canada for them doing this. Nice touch. One point back for them!
