I've used miles several times to get family members to funerals. Not my own, yet, fortunately (although I may just put in some instructions with my folder of emergency information).

I'm glad you are thinking of this. At a time of loss, families spend outrageous amounts of money on things that they would never agree to in normal circumstances. It's good you are thinking clearly about the options.
