An airplane bound for Smithers, B.C., was forced to make an emergency landing Saturday after the flight crew noticed a mysterious mist in the cabin.
The mist and an unidentified odour were discovered shortly after Air Canada Jazz flight 8560 departed from the Vancouver airport.
The pilot requested priority landing and touched the Dash 8 aircraft down safely in Port Hardy, B.C. without incident. None of the 37 passengers was harmed.
The source of the mist and odour has not yet been determined.
