Orbitz says first, CO says business...
So I just booked a flight from LA to New York via Orbitz. The flight was LAX-JFK, operated by UA. Orbitz listed this flight in F, I booked it, and the email confirmation confirms it. It's UA metal, but a CO ticket.
I went to manage the booking on CO's website, and it shows me in business (no way to check seat assignments). So my questions are:
1. Where am I sitting?
2. If Orbitz sold me a ticket in F but CO/UA will only give me business, does Orbitz have to pony up the difference so that they honor their contract?
3. If the answer to #2 is no, then am I owed a full refund?
3b. I booked this with my Amex, if the F ticket I thought I was purchasing isn't honored and Orbitz/CO refuse to refund, will Amex likely reverse all charges?
