Hilton extends their VIP status into 2002. See http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/Forum57/HTML/002818.html . I also received the email from Hhonors today. Most likely SW will follow suit. I already qualify SPG Platinum for 2002. Hopefully there are some additional promotions for earned Platinum.
