Ive been on plenty of flights where either there were people who didnt speak English or understand it good enough, and the FAs asked around for someone to translate for them

but even I would think every person from Holland had a good enough command of the English language, but can tell you from having been to numerous European Countrys that that is Not the case by many of them. Including Spain and Italy where I was recently to and where there were people on both flights who didnt comprehend English, forget about the person in the street who didnt understand me as I was asking directions
