Incident: Air Canada E190 near Pueblo on Dec 19th 2010, mountain wave turbulence

An Air Canada Embraer ERJ-190, registration C-FHNW performing flight AC-590 from Phoenix,AZ to Toronto,ON (Canada) with 98 people on board, was enroute at FL370 near Pueblo,CO (USA) when the airplane encountered a 20 KIAS loss of speed and an uncommanded descent of 600 feet. The crew recovered the aircraft and continued the flight at FL350 for a safe landing in Toronto about 2:50 hours later.

The Canadian TSB reported, that the aircraft encountered moderate mountain wave turbulence.
