As I mentioned a while back, the really old seats don't just fly to AKL, SYD gets them too as I was able to experience first-hand. To top off the great experience my return flight on the A380 was then switched to a 744, where I had to give up watching Inception because the screen wouldn't give the film justice...
I agree, granted I fly UA and DL alot, so I couldn't care less if they used my name. I think it's just a nice touch that they do. My Dad on the other hand, a PPS Solitaire, feels differently.

Last week I had a MEL-SIN 744, I don't feel the "old" sky suite is too bad, granted it was an employer paid ticket.

Even the "old" C products are loads better than DL. But I'm used to lackluster service and dated IFE (being American) so all my SQ experiences have been loads better than my typical UA/DL

DL still operates dated recliners on DTW-ICN/PEK/PVG, ATL-PVG, ATL-NRT, and SEA-NRT/NGO
