Hi,

I'm trying to decide whether to use our Amex 241 voucher to fly business class to LUN (which would require purchasing some BA miles) or whether to save it for a later date. Part of the calculation is to see how many ba miles my husband & I would earn if we purchase the cheapest economy seats.

Using the "Calculate your BA Miles and Tier Points" option on ba.com says that as a Blue card holder on the lowest economy flight I get 4933 miles. Two questions

a) is this for one way or return?

b) how come when I did this same flight last year I only received 1233 miles each way - are BA more generous now?
