Hi fellow travelers! I've been through some older posts and found some useful information but am hoping someone can jump in and give me/us some advice.

I'm pretty sure I am going to go with a TravelPro Platinum 6 22" rollerboard over the Crew 8 22" rollerboard. The warantee is a factor - as is the tougher fabric. Here is my concern: the Crew 8 is a new bag and the Platinum 6 has been around for a few years. Anyone have a perspective on this?

Also, I was going to go with an Executive First Checkpoint friendly bag to go with the Platinum 6. But, if I end up going Crew 8 rollerboard I will probably do the Crew 8 Checkpoint briefcase as well. Seems logical but I've been wrong several times today already!
