IMHO, Haagen-Dasz is still the best.
Mövenpick icecream is now (for about 3 years already?) a Nestlé daughter company.

Nestlé is also the distributor of Häagen-Dazs in the USA (outside the USA the Häagen-Dazs rights are owned by General Mills)
