When Chase closes out the accounts, a lot of times they also close out the credit cards. If Chase has not done that to you, count yourself lucky. Chase has a lot of travel cards we like - BA, Priority Club, Hyatt, CO, etc. For those who have been put into Chase's block list, nobody has ever (at least no one has reported here) come out clean and opened another account with Chase. They are esentially shut out of all the goodies Chase has.
Wow, talk about a scorched Earth policy! Luckily they didn't cancel my Chase Hyatt card (the only Chase CC that I have) and I was going to pay off the balance with another $5k in coins. I guess I might have to rethink that strategy to hang on to the dregs of my Chase existence. Thanks for the heads up.
