Turns out this 2 hour hold by AC costs my GF and 6 other PAX 24 hours in Argentina. That's 6 other PAX on the exact itin my GF was on. Not sure of how many other missed connections elsewhere in South America.

They missed the connection by 10 minutes. What a shame.

Funny how LAN decides not to wait for 6 PAX on an A320 yet AC will wait for 30 on the 777.

To be fair, AC has had to cough up for Chilie entry fees, hotels, etc costing $300+ / passenger thus far . . . AC Might have stepped over a quarter to pick up a nickel
