Unlike Fofana which was an illegal search of carry-on luggage at a checkpoint, this apparently was a checked bag search out of the public eye with no independent witnesses or video. These factors combined with a well-coached screener made this a really difficult case to defend. No lawyer- just freedom-loving observer.
