Strange you should say that, sko....
After a couple of recent disappointing ventures playing "right", we had been experimenting on the PC simulator with a method I picked up from this site

(sorry, skill set's not up to pasting as a link)
While it's not gonna make you rich, it does have the huge virtue of keeping you alive during prolonged choppy or cold sessions, while still being around to take advantage of any hot (or indeed prolonged cold) streaks. We logged about 30 hours of play (good enough for the room comps) and until trying to hit a home run for the last couple of hours Monday morning we were basically even, and during those whole 30 hours there wasn't really a significant hot streak. Had we been sticking with the traditional advice (and re-recommended by at least a couple of dealers who saw us switching seemingly at random) of pass with full odds, 2 come bets with full odds, we'd have been killed - would have been down several thousand, even at the $10 tables.
You have to be prepared for some strange looks, and for some opprobrium from the strict right-way punters, but as I say - it kept us alive when they were dropping like flies all around us. Worth checking it out if you like to roll the ivories.
