I previously posted this in the hotel section and apologize for posting this again. But I believe this is a more appropriate catagory.

This past weekend, I went to the Sheraton Grand Resort on Paradise Island in The Bahamas. I was already annoyed when I was charged a $4.00 daily "energy charge." But to my total amazement, they tacked on a $3.50 per day "maid charge!"
Has anyone ever seen this anywhere? I travel a pretty fair amount and have never seen this anywhere in the world. In addition, they charge $2.50 to make a toll free call from the room.

By the way, this particular Sheraton resort is a very mediocre hotel. I do not recommend it to anyone unless every other place is full.
