It's Christmas time, and the flights to HI are booked full. The center bins on the 767 won't be able to fit it. It will be tricky on the side bins. If you are row 1, that's bulkhead, and all carry-ons need to be stowed.

Maybe there will be room in the closet for it... but that is often times taken up by coats and wedding dresses (do you really want to get into a cat fight with bridezilla over closet space?).
