I was wondering if I should be concerned and re-checked all of the earning "rules" for the fare basis I purchased. This thread seems to confirm that I should be OK - it just stinks when the documentation on your reservation does not match the mileage accrual rules also posted on the web site. Could make things sticky if EQMs did not post as expected and a dispute needed to be resolved regarding elite status for next year.
Agreed. I'm dealing with that exact situation at this moment and it ain't pretty. You calculate your miles to fly based on information you have in hand, then get a nasty surprise.
To Ann: Based on what I've learned this past week, you might want to call OnePass to get a ruling. I made the mistake of a) relying on the word of reservations agents re-working (three or four times) an itinerary I'd booked in the spring and flew three weeks ago and b) relying on the EQM percentage listed on all the versions of my itinerary that CO kept redesigning. In my case, the segment I'm disputing is still reading 100% EQM when you create the route on/l, and I'm still being denied any of those miles. Call OnePass, ASAP, like right now.
In my case it doesn't look like it will resolve in my favor. I was basically told that I need to fly one more segment.
