I got a "push" delivery, as opposed to a "pull" (through the application process), so I can't comment on how fulfillments to those who have applied are going.
I'm ok with the screen, but everyone's different. There's at least one app, Scratchpad, that allows offline use. I agree that the trackpad isn't that great, especially when you're used to an iPhone or iPad. AC power plug is 3 prong for US (Bzzzt!). Using the webcam through a web site (picnik) is interesting. I didn't think this could work. Printing is a pain.
Shorting Microsoft seems like a good idea.
