Unfortunately, not much will be open. Christmas falls on a Saturday, so what would normally be open will be closed, and then Sunday almost everything is closed. Also, on the 24th, many stores will close earlier than normal since Christmas is the following day.

Looking for food, I'd say the area from the train station to the red light district will be your best bet.
