Just curious - if you fly enough to be 1K, clearly spending a lot of time in airports, why wouldn't you invest in a Club membership or a credit card that includes the membership?

If 9 out of 10 of your flights are BF (or the UA equivalent), I could understand it, but you don't indicate what % of your flights are domestic.
