I just hit Platinum with Priority Club! And I did it with only 12 stays this year, all in the past 3 months! I received a total of 68,165 points. About 5,000 - 8,000 of those were from other sources (dining, surveys, shopping, etc.) but the remaining 60,000 were from hotel nights, so my average is about 5,000 points per night. Not bad.

Now that I have Platinum status for 2011, is it worth it for me to get the credit card? I received an email that I could get 80,000 points for signing up for the credit card. But if I can't roll over those points, then is it even worth it? I'll easily get enough points in 2011 to maintain platinum status in 2012 without the Priority Club credit card, so I may consider the Hilton or MR credit cards instead.

Also, will my Platinum status be of any benefit at Intercontinental Hotels?
