About 2 years ago I lost my Premier Exec status as my company stopped expanding thus seriously cutting back on my flying. Its been 2 years of normal civilian flying for me. Well this year I flew enough to at least make it to Premier status.

Anyway, on to the question. I had booked a ski trip for the family prior to getting status back. After hitting Premier I called into reservations as I was unable to move seats for 2 of us up in to E+. At the same time on the call I mentioned that I was not showing an upgrade request as pending for the UDU's. I know most of the time as a Premier an upgrade is a long shot, but as we are flying between destinations that dont normally attract business travelers, we are traveling at odd times and right now (1 week prior to our flights) there is no one booked in first on a 767 that I may actually have a chance of getting 2 of us in first.

Today I log into my account and I show the Upgrade as confirmed and the agent now has us sitting in First with assigned seats.

Am I going to be asked for an upgrade instrument at check-in? I dont really want to burn up miles for an upgrade on a shorter trip (ord-den). Should I try to correct this or just leave it as is and take my chances?
