Is there a specific Code I can refer ticketing agent to, to get my companion added to an upgrade list?

Today I asked ticketing agent at MCO to get my companion added to an upgrade list and she just had this blank stare in her eyes like I was speaking a foreign language to her.
I will try again at the gate.
