Once one thinks: I have seen it all, it can always be beaten by KL.

Sitting in LIM and hearing that the flight is delayed due to late arrival of the aircraft. Bad weather in Europe and the plane left AMS late.

Plane touches down at 19.53 and that is indeed late. We get a new departure time of 22.00, instead of the planned 20.35.
At 21.00 I leave the lounge, the plane has been on the ground for 1 hour and I want to know when boarding will start.
The gate agent inform me, 30 to 45 mins and I look at him surprised.
'Yes sir, we are late because the crew is not here yet, they are stuck in traffic.'
'But they should have been here hours ago?' I retort.

My last statement only created a look like---well you know, it is a KLM crew, so anything can be expected.

Will inform you guys if KL is able to get me home for X-mas
