I'd check the T&C's of your booking. May be able to simply show up at the hotel, give appropriate notice that you will be checking out a day early, in which case the stay will be shortened by one day. If that's within the necessary cancellation policy of your booking, you should probably keep the same rate. (unless, as noted above, you had a minimum stay requirement to get that rate, i.e., 4 nights).
