Taking a mileage run in Jan, will be there 48 hours. Get in at 4pm on Sat and leaving about 6pm on Monday.

Ive read all 23 pages of this thread and there appear to many different areas of Tokyo with no real downtown. What would be a good place to stay, would like a bustling city area with good restaurants and bars. Also would like it to be easy rail access from NRT to the hotel/city area. Expect to spend $250-300 a night for the room.
