siwtched from Hyatt Diamond to SPG Plt this year. i concurred bossoxfan's comparison.
i never got suite upgrade in Hyatt but got it 60-70% with Sheraton/Westin in USA.
In Asia/Europe they are both more stingy. usually i need to ask and they only gave me club floor when i stay at the property many times.
