Friday Dec 17 MIA YYZ check in go to security East of checkin counter. Guard informs me priority screening is closed due to number of waiting passengers??? I have seen twice as many at this on previous trips and no closed security. Tells us to hoof it half way around the terminal further to the east to the other security point that is as busy if not worse. Walk all the way back to original point after security as my gate is even further away to the west than the original security gate and there is only 20 people at the security point now but still turning away pax.
Plane is late arriving they turn it around really quick in about 15 minutes so only 5 minutes or so late taxiing. Get airborne and eco cabin is about half full and exec is full. FA's look after lunch and drinks, clean up trays and then disappears in the back for 1/2 hour. Several pax in J press the call button with no response. Finally FA returns, turns off all the call buttons and makes a quick service to J pax and leaves again??? No explanation, no coffee no after lunch cocktails etc. Stow everything away and get ready to land.
